In the famous words of a two year old...

"You gonna put your boobs on?"

I so excited...

Thats whats Bryn said as I was getting her out of her car seat this afternoon for preschool. She was so happy and she seemed to have waited so long for this day to come. She had seen Cal and Aubs come and go to school, she was now thrilled that it was her turn too.
When Mitch and I picked her up she was so happy and was full of energy. Not long though, did she pass out in the car and then slept for 2 hrs after. Mmmm. I may have to rethink the afternoon session next semester. I will see how she does when I go to put her to bed in awhile!
She wanted to pose in front of the same bushes and flowers that she had seen Aubrie pose in front of on her first day of school. Such a sweetie!

Coming out...

No I'm not gay...just pregnant! Again! I thought it was about time I officially post a blog about it. I guess I just figured everyone knew already but for those of you who didnt know, we are excited and a little freaked out. I mean come on, four kids. I can barely handle the three I have, I cant imagine having another little one to care for. But as of now things are looking well and I am due in February. Actually it will be born the week of the 15th sometime, whenever my Dr. does her csections that week.
I have been EXTREMELY sick and tired with this one and I am actually so happy it will be our last. You hear me people DO NOT ASK ME IF WE WILL HAVE MORE THIS IS IT!!

School Daze

Today seems different to me-not because I had to wake up at 7am, get lunches ready, curl hair, give advice, pack backpacks...but because the thoughts that have entered my mind at such speed. Caleb started 5th grade today and Aubrie is having her first official all day kindergarten. My thoughts have taken my breath away and with the lump that forms in the back of my throat every time I think "Have I taught my kids what they need to know to survive out there?" "Have I made sure that they know I Love them more than life itself?" "Do they know who they are and what they stand for?" I also wonder "Are they happy at school?". "Do I make our home a refuge away from the outsude world that can be so cruel and lonely?"
Questions that make my heart and stomch do flips.
I feel like snuggling them in my arms all day long and never letting go. I think of the plan that Heavenly Father and set before us all. We are given these beautiful, innocent babies and they are absolutely pure from heaven above, they come here to us and we are to teach them and guide them in the right direction through life. Through the steps and curves that life places before us. Each littlr step they take they get closer to being on their own and being able to make their own decisions. Our goal is to teach them the ways to make good decisions and leanr how to stand on their own two feet-righteously. What a daunting task we have taken on as parents. I always feel overwhelmed with these thoughts. I cant escape them. So today, is not like any other day for me. Today is the last day my son will have a first day in elementary school. Next year he will go to middle school. The dreaded middle school. I fear it. I guess maybe because my life changed so much in middle school. There is where I met people that changed my life forever. Its scary. I can only hope that Cal is ready. That I have taught him how to stand on his own two feet. I want him to enjoy being a kid and this year I feel, will be the last that he feels like a kid. Free of worry and stress. Free from the peer pressure and constant battling of the adversary.
How fast life goes by. How fast kids grow up. Let us have daily reminders to enjoy and love our children each and everyday:)
Here is a picture of them this monring on their way together to school!

Tinkerbell haircut...

Yesterday we took Brynley to get her first haircut! When she got up in the chair Jen, our hairstylist asked me what we were going to do to and I was trying to explain to her when Bryn interrupted "I want a Tinkerbell haircut!" So Jen told her she would give her a Tinkerbell haircut. It turned out so cute:)

Tonight was my Grandpa Darrell's birthday and we went over to Gigi's for dinner and his favorite pies for dessert. Bryn found the Lemon Meringue pie on the table when we got there and stuck her finger in it and said "That is a yummy pie!" She came back through the kitchen another time and did the same thing. My grandma decided to put the pie up higher where she couldnt reach in fear of having her drop it on the ground. So when Bryn came through again she went to find the pie and said "Where did that pie go?" She didnt even want her dinner, she wanted pie first!
When my grandma gave her a piece of her pie after we all ate Bryn squealed in delight, the cutest giggles ever! She was so happy to finally be getting her piece of yummy pie! After she ate it all, she came and told my grandma "I Love You"! Aww. So sweet:)

It's here...

The day I have been dreading and looking forward to since she was born. Aubs went to her first day of kindergarten. I have been so excited for her because I know she will love it. She loved Montessori last year and learned so much! She was even reading by the end of the school year. She feels so grown up and I know she will excell in her class. In fact, yesterday when we met some of the students, she almost looked like she should be in first grade! She was feeling like she was going to a baby school after we left last night but I assured her that she would be just fine. She will be the older one in her class so she will be looked up to by the other kids for help and to be their friend. I was feeling so good about it all until this morning when I sent her off to school with Mitch. I lost it and i have been crying since. I have heard it gets easier with each one but it sure doesnt feel that way for me. I cant wait to hear about her day and I hope she enjoys it!

It's that time of year...

This year Caleb got his first job...being a Connie Mack Runner. He takes food orders for the reserved box sections at the games. Mitch and I went on Saturdday to watch the games and also watch our boy. I went over to his section and took a picture of him as he was in the process of getting an order in...He was not happy with me as you can see. He said "Geez, Mom you are so embarassing." Well thats what Mom's do. He was so cute to watch and he earned $14.00 that night. Very cool experience for him!

Last night we took the kids to the fair and carnival. We always go on Monday night. Its a tradition. Mitch's work gives us free admission, ride bracelets and food tickets to get some yummy, bad for you fair food. We ran into some friends and family and had a nice time.

When we got home last night which was late...Bryn desperately needed a bath, she was so tired she was falling asleep in it!

A week of first's has begun...

Not only will she start kindergarten in a week but I guess this girl just had to grow up even more by losing her first tooth! She pulled it out by herself and cant wait for the toothfairy to come and pay her a visit:)

Mitch found it!

Here are some pics that were missing from the previous blog posting. I am so happy that Mitch found my cord;) I knew I married you for a reason!
Caleb's birthday party. We took the boys paintballing and they all slept over.

Here are the pictures from the rodeo we went to with Hannah racing her horse Guppy. As you can see Bryn was petrified of the horse!
