Water bugs...

Our kids love water! Baths, swimming, hoses, spinklers, water slides, pools, you name it, their in it. We bought the girls a play pool to play in together this summer and they have loved it! Its big enough for them to splash around in and have fun together. They have even asked if they could get in right when they wake up in the morning! Funny girls:)

To my own dad...you are so cool and always have been. Thanks for being there and for always taking us to make new memories and for being such a great dad. I am grateful that you are my dad. You are such a good man and example to us. Thank you for being such an awesome papa to the kids. We love you!


To my stepdad Phil, you are such a good man and I am blessed to have you in my life and you are so good to the kids too. You have been able to teach them things like fishing, camping and boating and they have made great memories with you. Thank you for all you do!



To my grandpa Darrell, I am grateful for your example in my life. You are such a great man and I have watched you and I have seen your integrity and love for those around you. You have been through so much in your life and I have seen you come out still smiling and being such a good person. Thank you for being such an inspiration to me.


To Mitch's Dad, Sam...you have been through alot this past year and I have been able to help take care of you and be there for you. It has changed my life. I have learned so much about life and love during this past year. I am grateful for your example to Mitch growing up, I know he is the great father he is because of you. Thank you being a good papa to the kids too.

I also want to mention Papa Ed, Mitch's grandpa who gave us a place to live and be a family after we had Caleb. He let us live in one of his rental trailer's for over about 18 months for free and it helped us so much. He is so great!
And also my Grandpa Ted, who I dont even have a recent picture of. He lives far away and I have only seen him a few times in my life but I am grateful for him and his love.

Four Months

I have no idea where the time goes but I want it back! My sweet pea is going to be four months old on sunday! Hard to believe isn't it? Carly is just the best little baby. Things that she is doing at four months old.
Carly...
sleeps all night and has since she was 6 weeks old. Pure Gem I'm telling you.
holds her head up so good.
has begun reaching for objects and likes to touch your face.
likes to go places and watches everything.
Likes when Mitch "eats" on her thighs.
doesn't like loud noises like when I yell at the baseball games. Ooops.
likes her bumbo chair.
eats your hand, finger, hair, whatever she can get in her mouth.
I like what Mitch said one day to her, "Carly my life is now complete because you are in it." True. Very true.

Beautiful Ballerina's

The girls both had their dance recital this weekend and this year it was The Swan Princess. I have to share Brynley's experience with everyone. Her dance was friday night, and she has practiced this dance for about 6 months now. Being the most particular child, she was placed on the wrong number as she was coming out to do her dance. I could see her looking down to find her number 3 and realized she was in the wrong spot. But it was too late, the lights and music came on and there was Bryn looking ever so confused and scared and so she starting walking off the stage crying. Mitch quickly went to the back to see if she was okay and she was very upset. When I asked her what was wrong she told me " That other girl was on my number!" She thought she had to be on her number three in order to do her dance. Aunt Becky called me the next morning and said she could try to do her dance again in show 3 with Aubrie. Brynley was so happy she would get to do her dance again. And she did:)
Aubrie did beautifully. She is so posed and was always in her position with her toes and arms. She smiled the whole time and was just so beautiful up there. I got choked up seeing my little girl looking so grown up and so lovely.








The girls with Aunt Becky. We have to send a huge THANK YOU to her and Aunt Judy for giving the girls the opportunity to take dance with them. They are so great to us!

The Crusher!

My boy sure knows how to hit a baseball. And this is nothing compared to some of the hits he has had this season. We call him CAL-Bino! Go Dodgers!
