Aubrie's new do

I like long hair and prefer it on myself and thought I wanted my girls to have long hair until Aubrie's hair was getting longer. Well, I dont. I was so sick of having to curl it or do something with it everday and then she just messing it up or it looking messy all day if I didnt do anything with it. So...I had my friend Jill cut her hair today and I LOVE IT!! Caleb said " Aubrie I like your hair." And she replied "Its a bob, Caaaleebb"! BUt in her Im such a drama queen voice. It is so cute and totally fits her personality. I am looking forward to not having to worry about it as much especially since school will be starting soon. Very beautiful Aubs.

Date Day

Today Mitch and I took a date during the day, since he was off today. We went golfing and had such nice time. I am still learning but had some good shots today. Yay me! I need to get some better clubs that are for a tall gal like me and I would prolly do better. After we golfed, Mitch took me to Something Special for lunch and we shared a Strawberry Napoleon, my favorite. It was a nice date honey, Thank you.

End of the Season BBQ

We had our end of the season BBQ to celebrate a great season for the Rebels. Mitch has enjoyed coaching and the boys have all had such a fun time learning the game. We ended the season fourth out of ten teams. We have made some great friends that have won our hearts and we feel grateful for them! We were so proud of our boys and look forward to next year. Go Rebels!

27 ON THE 27th...

I know its silly for me to post my own bday but I felt that I needed to publicly thank my mom and dad for having me, especially my mom for going through all the phases of pregnancy and labor to help bring me into this world. THANK YOU! Being a parent now I fully understand how hard it is and how much gratitude I owe my parents. Love you all!

Wasn't my mom hot!

On my 1st birthday

This picture was taken on my 16th birthday at the Hard Rock Cafe in Hollywood. I thought the waiter was very hot, so my dad asked him to kiss me. Talk about totally embaressing but also very memorable. Definately one of my favorite bdays!

"Catching" Up...

Today Caleb went fishing with Papa Phil and Papa Darrell at Navajo Lake. Caleb thoroughly enjoyed himself and was able to catch three fish, two small mouth bass and a trout. He was so thrilled about it and Papa says he should give up baseball to be a fisherman! As they were pulling into the marina Caleb said "Just one more cast, Papa".
Another exciting thing Caleb did this week was learned to ride a bike. I think everyone just assumed that Caleb knew how. But unfortunately he didnt. He went through two bikes that we bought him and would never really even try. But this week he spent the night at his friend Jordan's house and Jordan helped teach Caleb how to ride his chopper bike. Monique even said Jordan was walking right beside Caleb hold the seat as he triend to learn. How cute! And what do you know He did it! He came straight home from Jordan's and pulled out his new bike we bought him last year and has been riding it ever since. I think I am relieved about this whole thing and want to tell Jordan thanks for being such a great friend to Cal!

Aubrie had a fun weekend. She was invited to spend the night, for the very first time at Kyla's house. ( Roxanna you are brave!) She was so excited and so very cute about it all. She had such a fun time and hasnt quit talking about it all afternoon!

Lately Brynley has been crawling up on top of the dining room table to get to whatever might be up there. Well, today I said "Brynley please get down." And she said "No". So I said "Yes, please" and she quickly said " No, Please." I just had to laugh at this one!

I love this time of my life with my kids. They are so much fun and I try to do alot with them. Because I know that they will grow up at the blink of an eye and I want to look back and say " Wow we had fun and we did as much as we could together" I am really grateful for them, what meaning and happiness they bring to our lives.

It was a "WICKED" weekend...

Since we were already in Alb, on wednesday I took the kids out to CA to spend the weekend with my Dad and Mary. I know, three kids totally out numbered me but somehow I survived. While we were there Dad had been wanting to take us to see WICKED and I knew it had stuff to do with The Wizard of Oz and I was kinda reluctant to see it. Why? Well, since I was a kid, I have totally despised that movie. I hate everything about it, the monkeys, the witches, dumb Dorothy and her dog , weird things that can talk. Okay, so you get the point I dont like it. But this show was completely different! I fell in love with it. It is the BEST thing I have ever seen. Now top that one. The music, the costumes, the special effects, their voices, the story...all fantastic. I really feel every fortunate that I was able to see it and that Aubs and Caleb got to see it. Aubrie loved it and hasnt quit singing the songs. She even said she wanted to be Elphaba (the wicked witch of the west) for Halloween. I am so grateful that my kids have the opportunities to be exposed to such magical art and I hope they find an appreciation for it. Thanks you Dad and Mary so much, it was really great!

Brynley's Foot

Last week we went down to Alb for a check up on Brynley's foot. Most of you remember she was born with metatarsus adductus, which is basically a slight curve in her foot. She had it casted last Oct and it seemed to help along with some foot exersizes. Well, the doctor said she looked good and if it doesnt bother her or if she doesnt have any problems then she should be good. We were so relieved and really feel blessed to have such healthy kids! While we were down there we went to the zoo and to Explora, the children's museum. Which is really cool! It was so nice to be together as a family and enjoy the summer.

Family Pictures

PS- A few pics got cropped funny in the slideshow, so some of us are missing arms or legs.

My Rebel...

Baseball season in the Lybrook home is officially over! Mitch coached Caleb's team and seems to always do such a great job with the boys. Of course he has great help...Thank you Louis, Andy, Faren and Jason. The boys started out the season pretty rough but really pulled it together at the end. We had some fantastic games and took 4th overall in our league. Way to go Rebels! Caleb did a great job pitching and even had six strikeouts in one game! He's has definately found hus place in the game. I have really enjoyed watching the games and we have made some wonderful friends through it all. Can't wait for next year.

Aubrie's close up

When my dad and Mary were here a few weeks ago, we got the girls pictures done at the mall with the "old" look. Aubrie was just beautiful and hamming it up. Bryn on the other hand wasnt as cooperative. And Caleb was just too cool for it.
