The BEST kind of email

I got this email the other day from Brynley's teacher and pretty much sums up our sweet, fun loving girl...

"Brynley is doing so well! She is doing all the math the kindergarteners do! She can add, subtract, add 3 numbers, write to 100, and now we are doing place value. She is reading and progressing well on that she just needs a little more confidence with reading. She can read all her colors words as well. Socially she is the most popular girl in the class! Everyone loves Brynley! She is nice to the children of all ages! The perfect student!

Potty?

I can't help but post this picture of Carly. Sorry its TMI but isnt she funny. She is showing major signs of wanting to start potty training, which really makes me kind of sad. Our last little one is growing up way too fast. She takes her diaper off any chance she gets and runs around nakie. I found her the other night with Brynley's panties on. Way too big and on backwards but she didnt care:) I love her. I guess its time to buy her some big girl panties and a new potty chair just for her.

Yesterday Aubrie got her braces on! She only got  the top four done, for right now to help straighten out her top teeth until the rest of her premanent teeth come in. Here is a before picture...

Did I do it?

I am finally getting around to writing a New Year's post. Glad I dont resolve to stop procrastinating because I would blow that one right away:)
My resolutions from 2011
So how did I do... I made a resolution to lose 30 pounds by my 30th birthday. Well, I actually ended up gaining about 15 pounds (So glad I am done nursing babies!) by my 30th birthday BUT- I did lose 30 pounds after that. I started an amazing program at the beginning of September and lost 30 pounds by the end of November. So I think that still counts since I did lose 30 in 2011! I plan on trying to reach my goal weight and lose another 30 pounds.
My next resolution in 2011 was to blog more often and I did do that.I did a total of  168 blog posts. I would say that was a success too.
The other goal I had set for myself was to sew more. I didnt get to that one until around the holidays and well, I dont think this one was quite successful. I started so many projects but didnt really finish any of them but one. And it didnt really turn out that great so I would ahve to say it was a huge failure. I have decided that sewing is not my niche in life.
 And this got me thinking about what I am passionate about. Who am I? What can do to share with those around me that would benefit us all? To make us better? What am I good at? What inspiring attributes do I possess? If there is anything we all have in common, is the desire we all have to feel INSPIRED, to feel LOVE. To want to do something that changes someones life for good. I am wanting to share what inspires me and what is a part of my life and that is part of who I am. Something that I know I am passionate about. Something that I hope inspires someone. Stay tuned for my next post to find out what I will be sharing.

Brynley's Special Week

We went to visit Papa T and Nana Mary the week after Christmas and to celebrate Bryn's 5th birthday. We had such a fun time! We took Brynley to Disneyland on her birthday and ate at the character breakfast. It was a really great breakfast and becuase we got there so early we were in the park before it opened to the public, so we got in alot of rides before it got busy. Thanks Papa and Nana for having us! Thanks for helping making Bryn day extra special.

 Carly wasn't so sure about all the characters walking around and trying to play with her...

 But pretty soon she was their best friend and trying to figure out what they were all about...

 The weather was unbelievably beautiful while we were there! 80 degrees plus everyday, so the kids swam to their hearts content.

 My Dad bought us tickets tp go see Wicked in Hollywood, so of course me and the girls jumped at the chance to be able to see it again. We are so in love with it. My girls sing the songs all the time and even Mitch (who stayed awake this time), liked it alot!

Our favorite place to eat when we visit is Tokyo Waco and they gave Brynley a special birthday outfit and dessert just for her! Too cute!

Even Baby Deegan came to help celebrate Bryn's bday at Disneyland but I didnt get a picture of that sweet boy! Thanks again for coming Karina and Eric.
