Our trip out to Dad and Mary's

All of us went out to visit dad and mary last week and had a great time. Went to Disneyland a few times, ate at the kids's favorite restaurant Tokyo Wako. The weather was nice most of the time and the kids always get to spoiled!
We attended Dad and Mary's ward christmas party while we were there and was it impressive. Dad is the activities chairman and put together a wonderful night for the ward. His decor was awesome and he even got Santa to come all the way from the North Pole to visit the primary kids. As you can see Brynley thought it was great, Aubrie wasnt so sure.
Mitch is such a great dad to his girls. He'll do just about anything for them, hence this picture!

Here is Aubs with Aunt Heather's sunglasses on. Hollywood here you come, Gabriella! (She loves high school musical)

Heather's visit, Cody's Departure

Heather came down for Thanksgiving and cooked a very yummy dinner for us! She has moved back to Denver to be closer to all of us. She was looking for a roommate and so Cody has decided to move in with her and have a new start up there. Very exciting for him...bummer for us. Good luck Cody!

Good friends

Okay, so I am really bad about posting this week, like I had hoped. Today I wanted to say how grateful I am for good friends. Mitch and I have been very fortunate to have such great friends and people to fall back on for support. To lend a hand or just simply to have a phone call from someone who was thinking of us. The kids have really good friends too and as a parent its one of the best things to ask for!

The little things

I wanted to start the Thanksgiving week off right by posting something I was grateful for eachday. Today I was grateful for Brynley and the sweet spirit she is. We were all at the dinner table, blessing the food and as we finished I looked up and saw Brynley had folded her arms too! She is so smart. So we decided to see if she would do it again and we pretended to say another prayer and she did, she folded her small little arms over her tummy! Its amazing how much they learn in their first year of life. This small action made me grateful for those moments that seem to make it all worthwhile. Because this was one of those moments. Here is a picture Mitch took of us before church today.

Christmas Pictures

Christmas Pictures

Here are some Christmas pictures that we had taken of the kids a few days ago. My friend Rachel Tucker took them at Casa Blanca Inn here in Farmington. Caleb is sucha photogenic kid, Aubrie kinda got in her "Im gonna keep the same look on my face and hope it works" look and Brynley actually did very weel for her first official pictures. It was really fun with Rachel and I think she has a great eye for capturing the natural look of people. I am going to choose one to go on our Christmas cards so look for them in the mail soon!
