Big sister, baby sister...
Love these two girls. Aubs is always such a wonderful help, okay LIFESAVER with Carly. She lugs her around everywhere. She tends to her and really loves playing with her. But I think Carly loves her sister even more so.

Cardinals...
Caleb was asked to play with a traveling team for baseball about five weeks ago. This team was going down to Albuquerque to play their games every week. This team is made up of boys who won the age division in our town for Caleb's age, took state, regionals and even went to Puerto Rico to the Willie Mays World Series. So when they thought of Caleb to come and join them, we just couldnt refuse the offer. Caleb has learned so much in this short time with them. He has had some bumps too but ultimately he has learned alot about himself and what he is capable of as a ball player and as a person. He now knows what it takes to play at this competitive level. We are proud of him for working so hard at practices and at the games. Lots of love to ya boy!

8 months....ALREADY!
Carly Jane is 8 months old today! I know. I can hardly stand it, how fast she is growing. She is such a sweetie pie. I love waking up each morning and seeing her smiling face. Things Carly likes and can do are....
Carly has been crawling since she was 6 months old!
She loves food! Mama's milk and solids. The only food she doesnt like has been snowpeas with brown rice. Gerber makes some weird ones.
She babbles and says "bababababa" or her infamous growls are so cute.
She claps her hands together and loves to hear music playing.
Pulls herself up from sitting holding onto the couch or tables.
Puts everything she sees in her mouth. One time I was shopping at TJ Maxx and had set a clothing item near her and didnt realize by the time I got to the checkout she had eaten the tag right off!
Is such a mama's girl- when I leave the room, she screams for me. Kinda makes me feel good, most days it drives me crazy!
Loves for Mitch to tickle her back.
Loves the girls to play with her and carry her everywhere.
She likes to run around town with me. She loves to look at new things and is very content with being hauled all over the place.
Understand what "come here" and "mum-mum"(food) means.
She really does complete our family!

Fire Prevention Week
Each Year Mitch's work does a play teach kids about fire prevention and safety. This year the theme was Toy Story 3. Mitch played Woody and did such a good job! Over 20,000 kids see the play each year! The girls love going to see him all dressed up and seeing him with the other characters. I on the other hand LOVE that we get to have a normal life for one week a year. Mitch works shift work, 12 hour shifts, and rotated through days and graveyards. But during fire prevention week he works from 7am- 2pm and we get to have an hour and half lunch together each day too. Its great!

A Ghostly Dinner
An easy, fun dinner for you to make with your kiddos.
Saute chopped onion and garlic. Brown any kind of meat. Add in some frozen veggies.Make some gravy from a packet and add it to the meat and veggies. Now take some instant mashed potatoes ( I used garlic flavored) and put it in a piping bag. Pipe the potatoes into the pan with the meat and veggies. Add some peas for eyes and voila, there is dinner. Enjoy!
