Is anyone out there reading any new books? I would love to get my hands on a great new find. I just finished up The Tales of Beedle the Bard by JK Rowling. I have to admit I was a little disappointed. I thought it was a great "childrens" book but I guess I was expecting something different from her. I think she owes it to us faithful followers and obsessed fans of Harry to give us something more than childrens fables. I liked the idea she had but what I really want is more Hogwarts! I am wanting Caleb to read it now to get his take on it.
I like getting recommendations from people when it comes to books. So if you have a book you think I should read, tell me. Thanks!

I have also been looking for some new good books to read. I want to read Inkheart, since it is being made into a movie. I have heard really good things about it, and it is a series too, which is the best cause then you have more than one book to read. It will probably be next on my list to read. If you find anything else, I would love to know! I am always looking for a good book.
I am reading the Inkheart trilogy right now. It's ok. I can see where it will make a really good movie! Also, if you liked HP you will probably like the Fablehaven books. Again they are considered children's books. But I LOVED them! You should join goodreads.com. I can get all kinds of ideas on books to read from some of my friends on there. Oh, I also read the book that the play you love so much (Wicked) is based on. I'm not sure if they are similar because I never saw the play. The book was ok, some parts were hard to get through, but I couldn't hardly put it down, so it must have been pretty good! Anyways, check out goodreads.
I loved the Eragon series, like I really, really loved them. My nephews read them and loved them and handed them down so I think Calub might enjoy them as well.
But do not rent the movie, it was lame and a horrible disappointment
Yeah, I was going to tell you to check out goodreads.com also. It is an awsome sight, and you can search for books according to other books you liked. And you can look at what other people are reading and like! I am on goodreads so sign up and lets be friends!
Dean Koonz Hollz. Odd Thomas is a way cool character, read that Koonz series for sure.
And Stone Tables is good, it would be interesting to see if we both would like the same stuff. I cant think of one book that we both have read.
we should pick a book together cuz I am just about done with Stone Tables, that would be fun huh.
I agree about the Eragon series. I've read all three and loved them all. I have the first one and last one but loaned the second one out and never saw it again. Good luck with the Dean Koonz. Ha ha ha Mitch!
"Green Eggs and Ham" series always worked for me.
Thanks everyone for your book suggestions!
