Aubrie's Award and Straight A's...

At the elementary school's here in Farmington, they have a program called Character Counts. Each semester a child is recognized for a characteristic that they think is exceptional in each classroom. This semester the character counts awards were trustworthyness and good citizenship. Aubrie was chosen in her classroom as the student that shows good citizenship! Yay Aubs! Her teacher has nothing but such positive things to say about our girl. She is such a good student and always has a good attitude towards learning and with her peers. Her teacher also said that Aubrie has respect to others and will always lend a hand when she sees the need. Awesome Aubrie!
Caleb got his report card yesterday and you guessed it...Straight A's again! He has one more 9 weeks left and he striving to get all A's all year for the third year in a row. I met with Caleb's teachers last week in the gifted program and the middle school gifted teacher from Hermosa. Caleb scored so high in math that he scored out of the gifted math class in 6th grade so they asked if they could put him in an Algebra class with 7th and 8th graders. He also scores high in reading and reads at an 8.5 grade level! He will have three gifted classes in middle school next year and he is looking forward to going...Mitch and I are not! We are so blessed to have such smart kids. I have to brag about them because thet deserve it. They both work hard to learn and get good grades. They never complain about going to school and both usually look forward to going each day. I am so proud of both of them! Way to go kids!
