Because I have been given much...

Today was such a good day. Aubrie sang her solo at church and did such an amazing job! Really. Beautiful. I am so stinkin proud of her. Her voice really brought the spirit to the meeting along with the other singers. The speakers today were awesome too. My friend Rachel talked on prayer and a missionary who just came home spoke and both talks were just great. Its going to be tough getting up there next week to talk. Yes, Mitch and I were both asked to talk in sacrament and when I texted Mitch today to tell him his response was "Sorry I am unavailable to recieve text messages at this time, please try again." LOL!! I didnt even tell him that the bishop also wants to meet with him. dundundun. Could only mean one thing, new calling. Ha!
I am feeling so lifted and grateful today. I am truly blessed beond measure to have these four beautiful, amazing people in my life that call me MOM. I hope that God knows I am so privelaged to be their mother and I hope I can lead them and guide them and walk beside them through this life.

C's

My kids that start with C's.
Both are euqally cute and smart and both know how to drive me crazy but deep down, they both have a little piece of my heart.

Carly Jane has quite the personality. It's taken me awhile to figure this little love bug out but I have come to know that she is quirky and lovable like her daddy. She is sweet and funny and likes to be in the middle of all the action. She doesn't miss a beat, this one. Her smart and clever ways keep me on my toes. Just a few pics of her funny moments.

Nerdy like her daddy.

She took this picture all by herself with my phone. One day she stole my phone and took 29 pics of her eyes and 2 of her toes. Then the next day I found this picture on my phone, she is getting the hang of it. She even posed for it. I like to think she is a photographer in training:)

She loves her daddy. Anytime we are going anywhere, she wants to be a part of it. On this day, she had lunch with me and Mitch. She loves pizza!

Mr. Caleb Dylan has a new found love for the kitchen. Lately, he has been experimenting with his baking abilities and has found that he makes the BEST brownies! Perfect. Next up, a cookie lesson because if he can make killer cookies whoever he marries will be one lucky gal.

This happened a few weeks ago but I thought it was cute to share, Caleb had gotten in trouble one night (nothing new), and the next morning when I was in the shower I found my bed made and this note on it. It says " I am so sorry! I am a stinky terd. Please forgive me." I thought the gesture was sweet. That is one thing about Caleb, he knows how to smooze his mama.

Our little Firecrackers!
May we all be thankful for the freedoms we have for being an American and the blessings that are given to us for living in this great country. Happy Independence Day!

Alpine Slide

Last Friday, Mitch was off for the weekend and so we decided to take a little day trip up to the mountains and go to Durango Mountain to play with the kids. The drive up through La Plata was gorgeous and through Durango and up to the Mountains was just breathtaking! I love the mountains in the summer time. There is just something relaxing and soothing to my soul to be up there. Before we got to Purgatory,  We stopped at the natural hot spring fountain outside of Durango.

Durango Mountain is a ski resort in the winter and in the summer it is a resort with condos to rent and little things to do like the alpine slide. You ride the ski lift up the mountain and then ride the slide down.  The kids rode the slide so many times, Mitch even took Carly down and she loved it!

With the packages we got, you could also do the climbing wall, the bungee trampoline and the zipline.

Aubrie was so fun to watch on the bungee, she was doing flips and even had a double flip!

Caleb was just making us laugh so hard when he was doing the bungee. It was hurting him and so every time he came down, he had this look of pain but was still trying to like it on his face. Hilarious! Poor kid.

Brynley just liked it!

                                                             We have brave kiddos!

On our way home we stopped and ate at our favorite place in Durango, Steamworks.
The kids though it was funny to do the hear no evil, see no evil, speak no evil and of course smell no evil:) Oh and thats Nick, Caleb's friend. He is kind of a permanent fixture in our family right now.

My sweet girls. Dont mind the dirt all over Carly's face. She had too much fun that day:)

Pitching Stud

Last night I snapped a few pics of Caleb pitching at his game. He is a studman at the mound. I am so impressed with his skill as a pitcher. He is accurate and his speed has gotten so much faster. He has some pretty tricky moves for pick offs too. Good job my boy!

Caleb recruited some of his buddies to go green with him:) All three of these boys share something special and in common besides their green hair...the Aaronic priesthood. Good boys!

Dance Recital- Tangled

This year's dance recital was based off the movie Tangled and the girls did awesome! Brynley was so supr tiny, cute up there on the "big stage" and Aubrie did such an amazing job! She had four dances she had to perform, tap, jazz, ballet and her lead role Ballet part. She was graceful, and so poised and her smile just makes my heart melt. Aww, I love my girls so much and I am so blessed so have them. Aunt Judy and Aunt Becky are so great to them and us for always giving them the opportunity to take dance and they give so much of their time and energy to make these recital's great for all their students. I know some of you have seen these pictures on facebook but my sweet hubby doesnt do facebook, so I post alot of the same things on here for him. Love you hunee. Thank you for helping me make these beautiful girls!

Blue Eyed Beauty

I found this little beauty making pretty, smiley faces in my mirror and thought it was so cute that she was so into her prettiness. I hope she always knows that she is beautiful!

                                                                Remember this one...
