The Pumpkin Patch

Aubrie went on her first field trip to Sutherland Farms Pumpkin Patch. It was fun to finally meet the kids that Aubrie has been talking about that she goes to school with. Aubrie has been our timid, shy kid and it was so neat to see her so happy and smiling with her friends. She has really "come out of her shell" since school started. Putting her at Montessori has been one of the best decision I have made being her mom. I like the curriculum, the teachers, the classroom setting, the structure, basically everything about it. The one thing I might have done different is for her to go full day. She only goes half a day and most days when I pick her up she says " can I play with someone" or "asks why she cant stay and have lunch with her friends." The field trip was fun and Brynley and I had a fun time tagging along for the morning. Brynley loved the pumpkin patch! She loved following the kids around from the corn maze to the corn pit and on the hayride she got so happy when she saw all the pumpkins all over.
I am very grateful that I am able to be available to help out and experience these little things with the kids.
