The World of Technology

I hate it! Our computer crapped on us on saturday night, right as I was doing my photography assignment which is due on sunday and I always try to have it done before then but was running behind last week so of course on saturday night, our comuter just wouldnt work. I did however, by some kind of luck got it to work just for me to download my work and get my assignment in! But after that it wasnt going to cooperate again. So the computer guy was called on monday monring and he had it since last night and really wasnt able to fix much. So now we had to pay him, which wasnt cheap and still go and buy a new laptop! Argh! The frustration of it all. Since hen did we become so reliable and ADDICTED to technology? Mitch and I were talking about how different each generation is and how we never would have imagined having a cell phone in 4th grade, whihc by the way is my pet peeve, and which is another post!
But I am back for now. I cant post pictures until we get a new one. So just imagine me pulling my hair out and yelling profanities at my computer!
PS- I am also dying to blog about American Idol! Coming soon!

Crazy!! I think about what I would do without my computer and I would probably be so bored! I have no social life right now, except on facebook. So pathetic, I know! So you should join facebook so we can chat more than just at church! BTW, it's better than myspace! I'm thinking of deleting my myspace account.

Computers...they are a love 'em hate 'em kind of thing. And cell phones in 4th grade?? What?! Actually I have a niece and a nephew (neither of which is in fourth grade yet!) who have had cell phones for quite some time now. Imagine the "Moooom! Why do THEY get to have a cell phone and we don't!" complaining I have dealt with time and again from the older girls. URGH. I tell them they can have a cell phone when they start driving. Until then...I'm never letting them out of my sight so they don't need one! :)

I wish I woulda had a cell phone back in elementary to keep track of all my 2nd grade honey's. KIDDIN HOLLZ
Danny is gonna whoop' em all in A.I. this year, especially that punk Lambchop, yeah, hollz you made me jealous of him since you get all giggly and "whoo hoo" when he is on the screen. I can handle Mark Walberg, but not Mr. vampire/goth. He's gotta be gay anyway.
alright babe, I am out, 143E
