Crazy Car 99'
Today was the Pinewood Derby for the scouts in our ward. I have found that this event is my favorite thing about scouts. All the boys are excited and happy to race thier cars that they worked hard on. Caleb designed his car and with the help of Mitch cut it out, painted it and put the wheels on. He painted it a bright green and wanted to name it Weirdo 99'! I did not let him name his car that so he came up with the green machine and painted Crazy Car 99 on the side. Mitch had a bright green blazer in HS that he called the green machine so I think caleb wanted to copy his dad and have his own one. The derby was fun and Caleb's car did great. He took second place! Way to go Caleb!

All that's missing in this photo to have them look more alike, is a bow in Caleb's hair!
By the way. . . CONGRATULATIONS Caleb!!!! We are sooooo proud of you. I loved the Pinewood derby when I was your age. I love scouts too. Hopefully you will seceed and become an Eagle scout like Papa!
Yeah, Caleb! "That's awesome dude," says Hali. She wishes she could be in Boy Scouts...we just don't do 'cool stuff' like that in Activity Days! :) Love you guys!
