My little helpers

Aubs and Bryn have become such good helpers and sweet sisters to eachother and to Carly. Bryn feels so grownup when I ask her to "babysit" Carly. I will lay Carly on her blanket in the den as Bryn watches TV and I am able to get some laundry started or clean up the kitchen. It makes Brynley feel like she is helping me and she gets to spend time with her sissy. Yesterday when I did this I came in to check on them and Bryn had her hands over Carly's eyes. I asked her why she was doing that and she said "I dont want Carly to get scared if she sees the jaguar on Diego." Funny girl.


Aubrie has become my right hand gal. Carly absolutely adores Aubrie and she is so good with her! Carly will stop crying if she hears Aubrie's voice. Aubrie is very much into being the "little mother". In the evening I like to take a bath. So I figure I might as well bathe Carly too and so when I am ready for us to get out, Aubrie comes and gets Carly and lotions her, puts her diaper on and gets her onesie and sleeper on her all by herself. I had to help her and show her the first time or two but now she is better at it than I am. It has become especially helpful when Mitch is on graveyards and I am alone with the kids. I couldnt do it without their help:)
