5 Grain Cookies...

I just made a "healthy" cookie! These bad boys have half the fat and sugar than a traditional chocolate chip cookie. I found the recipe on the back of Bob's Red Mill 5Grain oats package. I tweeked it up a bit like using honey in place of half the brown sugar and adding white chocolate chips to it. A cookie just isnt a cookie unless it has some kind of chocolate right but I only used half the bag of chips so thats something right? :) Here is my version...
1 1/2 cup Bob's Red Mill 5 Grain Rolled Cereal
1 cup wheat flour
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
Add all these ingrediants in a bowl, mix and set aside.
Now take 1 stick of butter, 1/2 cup brown sugar, and 1/2 cup honey and cream in a mixer on low speed. Add 1/2 tsp. vanilla, 1/2 water and 2 eggs. Mix well then add the flour mixture slowly. Next add 1/2 cup dried cranberries, 1/2 cup coconut, and 1/2 cup pecan pieces and chocolate chips.
Bake 375 for 10-12 minutes. Enjoy!

Sounds yummy! Will have to give them a try. Especially since they are healthy, right?
