Dog Pile!!
I have to give it to my husband...he is still such a kid at heart. This is a good thing! He is always playing with the kids, whether its kickball, baseball, kitchen, reading books, playing house, frisbee or my kids' favorite...jumping on the trampoline. From the moment he comes home from work or wakes up, the kids are all saying "Daddy come play with us!" And he NEVER is too busy for them. Thats probably the best thing I love about Mitch...he always lives in the moment and doesnt let one go by that he can be with the kids. So last night, as I watched then playing outside, I wanted to capture those thoughts I had and capture the moments he always makes for them. So I took this picture as they were wrestling and dog piling on each other. I AM GRATEFUL FOR BEING ABLE TO WATCH MY HUSBAND PLAY WITH OUR KIDS.

I love this picture!! I think it's great when dads take the time to really spend time with their kids! I might try to do the grateful post but not sure if I will manage to get it done everyday!
I have lost a step or two, actually 1.25 steps to be exact, good thing energy drinks are so readily available these days. I take Satchel Paige's advice, "Don't look back, something might be gaining on you." And, "How old would you be if you didn't know how old you are?" The man is a genius i am telling ya, a baseball player to top it, so if i use his advice, I should gain my 1.25 steps back, and probably gain a few more, heck of a deal.
This is probably just about the cutest thing I have ever seen! I just might have to give your gratitude blogging everyday for a week a try....
What a fun dad. We saw him at firesafetly week....our kindergarteners loved it. YOu have such a cute family!
