12 Month Check Up...

Carly had her 12 month check up yesterday. The moment we walked into the room, she began to cry. She has been through some traumatic experiences the past few weeks and so she automatically associates the doctor's office with pain.
Carly is however doing wonderful for her age, doing everything a little above schedule. She did have to get five shots, which was really awful! I felt so bad and after when we wer ein the car, she was saying "Owww" to Mitch and I.
Her weight was 19.15 pounds which is in the 30th percentile
Her height was 28.5 inches which is 50th percentile
Carly will be getting tubes in her ears on Tuesday. We are actually looking forward to it because we are hoping it really makes a difference in her congestion and ear infections. Hopefully everything will go well with it. Keep her in your prayers:)

Carly's new love...reading books. I keep a stack of them on her bottom bookshelf in her room, and she goes up there all the time to look through them and always enjoys when someone reads to her.
