Zumba!

So I have this friend...she's pretty amazing and she got me going to Zumba with her back in January. If you haven't ever tried it before you will LOVE IT! I promise, you will. It's by far the best workout I have ever done. In an hour long class I burned 734 calories! I had always wanted to try Zumba whe I was working out at the spa but felt a little intimidated about it because I am not a dancer. Just ask my husband. I lack a serious rhythm that is required for being able to dance-nicely. But I gave it a try and after the first class I was hooked. I leave every class looking like I took a shower because you sweat that much and you keep your hear rate up the whole time. I have dropped from a size 22 to an 18 {again}. I am not embarassed by those numbers, I am very proud of them! I have worked my tush off with zumba, and weight training since January. I have lost 9 pounds and I am proud of that too. I wish it was more but between nursing and having my dumb thyroid issues, this is what I have been able to accomplish. I am excited that I am almost donw nursing Carly and that I have scheduled an appointment with an endocrinologist in Albuquerque next week. Hopefully he will be able to find something that is missing with my thyroid crap. I am taking it all in stride.
