Smarty pants

I needed {wanted} to write this down before I forget. Last week was my annual meeting with the gifted teachers at Caleb's school. I was quite impressed with all that they had to say about him. Caleb has an IQ of 149 and is very advanced in all of his subjects. His teacher Mrs. Boyles said its very rare that you see a student that is "gifted" in all subjects. Caleb made goals for the rest of the year and also for next year. He will do all of his core subjects in advanced or upper level classes next year. He wants to try out science olympiad, which is a class that groups up and participates in different science experiments. His electives are going to be his social classes. He likes drama and music class this year, so he will probably choose to do those again too.
In this meeting they go over test scores and also ask Caleb questions about his future.
The first question was "Where so you see yourself in 20 years?"
Caleb said : "Working as a CSI agent in a big city."
Question 2: " Do you see yourself living alone or with a family of your own?"
Caleb: "A family of my own, in a big city."
Question 3: "Do you have a specific college you want to go to?"
Caleb: "No not yet, I just know I want to go. Maybe Harvard."
Question 4: "What are some extracurricular activites that you might be doing?"
Caleb: "baseball"

Those were a few that I remember because I couldn't help but smile when he was talking about it. I know Caleb can do anything he sets his mind to and will go far if he follows his heart and stays true to God.
PS- I sure hope he chooses a different college, we might have to sell some vital organs to make that happen. heehee

He is such a well rounded, smart kid! You and Mitch have done a great job! All of your kids are so smart and beautiful, I think a few more are in order. :)
