Carly

Today Carly got tubes in her ears for her chronic ear and sinus infections. Everything went very well! How could it not the ENT doctor is in our ward and Mitch is his home teacher:) Dr. Clark is awesome and such a good guy, I have complete trust and faith in him. And he proved to me again why we love him.
Carly had to go in without breakfast so I was a little worried about it but it was so early she just did really good. After she woke up, she was a little foggy looking but when she saw Mitch and me, she just wanted to be held and I brought her some food and her sippy. All day she has been really happy and seems to be just fine.
Thank goodness for a good doctor and good nurses that took care of her for us. Hopefully we will see a decrease in her sicknesses.

Carly will barely hold still anymore for a picture. I had to trick her with my phone to get her to smile for me.

Last week we also found out that Carly is allergic to wheat. On the scale they use with 6 being the highest, she was a 5. She also showed a high intolerance to milk and egg whites. They were both a 3. So I dont have to completely eliminate eggs and milk from her diet but I have to limit them. I did however have to take alll wheat out of her diet. And if you look at all the products on the shelf in the store you will see that everything has wheat in it! Thankfully we just had a really great new store open called Natural Grocers/Vitamin Cottage. They had alot of gluten free products there for mr to replace some of her favorite things she liked to eat with. Its still a challenge but luckily we have been eating more cleanly and so it hasnt been a huge adjustment. Carly is doing well with it, so hopefully her nose will clear up more!
